Keep webpages in view while you work.
A macOS browser built around floating windows. Follow a video, read documentation, or watch a dashboard alongside your other apps.
Make room for what matters
Every window has its own place on screen. Keep the ones you need on top, and let the rest of your work happen underneath.
Pin windows on top
Keep any window above the others, and pin several at once. Press ⌘⇧A to toggle.
Adjustable opacity
Fade a whole window from 100% down to 20% so you can see what's behind it. Menus and dialogs stay fully opaque.
Content-only mode
Hide the title bar, tabs and toolbar so the page fills the window. Hover the top edge to bring the controls back.
Click-through
Let clicks pass through a window to the app underneath, and turn it off again from anywhere with a global shortcut.
Video Mini Window
Turn the main video on a page into a compact floating window with playback controls. Press ⌘⇧P again to restore the page.
Split views and windows
View two tabs side by side, drag tabs between windows, and choose a top or side tab bar. Windows and tabs are restored when you reopen the app.
Everyday browsing
The system WebKit engine, private windows, history, downloads, local files, and your choice of search engine.
Keyboard first
Familiar Safari and Chrome shortcuts, plus shortcuts for every floating feature. Customize any of them in Settings.
Tools for developers
A built-in panel for console output, JavaScript, page source and cookies, plus Safari Web Inspector when you need more.

Video Mini Window says there is no video on the page.
Start playing the video first, then press ⌘⇧P. Video Mini Window works with videos in the page's main frame. Videos embedded from another site in a frame (for example, some embedded players) are not supported yet.
I turned on click-through and can't click the window anymore.
Press ⌃⌥⌘T to turn click-through off. This shortcut works even when Floaty Browser isn't the active app. You can change it in Settings → Shortcuts.
How do I move a window in content-only mode?
Hold ⌘⌥ and drag anywhere on the page, or move the pointer to the top edge of the window and drag the bar that appears.
How do I inspect a page?
Choose Develop → Developer Panel (⌥⌘C) for console output, JavaScript, page source and cookies. For the full Web Inspector, turn on “Show features for web developers” in Safari Settings → Advanced, then choose Develop → Developer Tools (⌥⌘I) in Floaty Browser and pick the page from Safari's Develop menu under your Mac's name.
How do I clear my browsing data?
Open Settings → Privacy and choose Clear History or clear cookies and website data. Private windows don't save history, and their cookies and cache are discarded when they close.
